The director finds a box of video tapes documenting his childhood, and decides to digitize them for posterity. In reviewing the footage, he discovers a persistent resentment of “performance” in front of a camera. He begins editing the footage in an attempt to understand where this resentment comes from, and how it shapes him as a filmmaker today.
