BIO


Jeremy is an award-winning, New York-based filmmaker.

He has shot films around the country and around the world, and his work has been exhibited and celebrated at both domestic and international festivals.

In 2022, Jeremy was selected to be an Assistant Editor at the Sundance Institute Directors Lab, where he supported rising independent directors and editors in workshopping Sundance-backed features in development.

He won Best Editor at the 2020 Global Impact Film Festival for his work on The Butterfly Effect. This film was also a Finalist at the 2020 MY HERO International Film Festival; Best Documentary at the 2020 Centrally Isolated Film Festival; and an Official Selection at a diversity of festivals.

His film A Very Lonely Cowboy Christmas won the Audience Choice award at the 2022 Blackbird Film Festival, where his other film, Kit, was also an Official Selection.

His work spans across genres and disciplines, moving fluidly between fiction, documentary, and experimental film. He also has experience working in VFX and motion graphics — samples of this work can be made available upon request.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Media Studies from Cornell University, where he minored in Film and German Studies.

He has also studied at the Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), one of Europe’s premiere film schools, as well as the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SOCAPA) in New York City.
